Here are some instructions after booking your health screening appointment.

  • If you are fasting, please do not eat or drink for at least 8 hours. Plain water is okay.
  • Fasting is optional.
  • Bring along your NRIC/Work Permit/Passport for identification
  • For company arranged health screening, please bring company letter, authorisation or staff pass
  • Recent medical reports and radiology films if any
  • Wear loose fitting clothes for examination
  • Rearrange the appointment if you are feeling unwell
Avoid taking diabetic medications when fasted and resume your diabetes medication only after blood tests completed and you are about to take food.
Continue to take regular chronic medications including high blood pressure medications with plain water.
  • Arrange for test at least 5 days after menses have stopped
  • No sexual intercourse, creams, and lubricants at least 2 days before screening
  • Not suitable for pregnant women
  • Inform doctor if you have done an X-Ray in the past six months
  • Not suitable for pregnant women
  • Arrange for test at least 5 days after menses have stopped
  • Do not apply moisturiser, perfume, or powder on chest and underarms
  • Consult doctor if you have done a mammogram in the past year
No smoking at least 2 hours before test
Do not eat excessive red meat and iron supplements at least 5 days before screening
  • Do not take any beta-blocker medications like atenolol and bisoprolol at least 2 days before test and please check with us for alternative medicine for these medications for these 2 days
  • Wear sports attire when you are scheduled for a treadmill stress test
  • Please have a light breakfast before the treadmill stress test
  • Avoid caffeinated drinks
  • Please bring along your spectacles
  • Do not wear contact lens on the day of screening
