What if I am treated for non-haze conditions during the same visit?

Treatments, medications, or blood tests for non-haze conditions (e.g., skin rashes, high blood pressure, diabetes) are billed separately under standard clinic charges or standard CHAS/MediSave subsidies. However, our clinic will not charge a second consultation fee for treating non-haze conditions during the same consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions (HSS Singapore)

Case 1: Your condition is not haze-related
If your diagnosis is completely unrelated to the 6 haze conditions (e.g., skin infection, stomach flu, routine health check), your visit will be billed under our clinic's standard fee structure. You may still apply your usual CHAS Acute subsidies or MediSave where applicable.

Case 2: You have both a haze-related AND a non-haze condition
If you seek treatment for a haze condition (e.g., asthma flare-up) alongside a non-haze issue (e.g., chronic hypertension refill or skin rash):

  • Your haze-related consultation, tests, and medications are capped at your HSS co-payment rate ($0, $5, or $10).
  • Your non-haze medications and tests are billed separately under standard clinic rates (or claimable under standard CHAS/MediSave rules).
  • No Second Consultation Fee: Our clinic will not charge an additional doctor consultation fee for addressing the non-haze condition during the same visit.

No registration or pre-application is required. Eligibility is verified instantly at our counter when you present your physical or digital NRIC or CHAS / PG / MG card via the Singpass / HealthHub app.

Seniors aged 60 and above can use Flexi-MediSave to cover their $5 or $10 co-payment. For chronic conditions (such as Asthma or COPD) managed under CDMP, standard MediSave500/700 withdrawal rules apply.

No, you cannot stockpile or ask for excess medication. Under MOH guidelines, medications prescribed under the scheme are strictly limited to the necessary quantity required for the immediate episode of care. Prolonged advance stockpiles are not permitted under the bundled scheme fee.

Please bring a valid Singapore NRIC, Birth Certificate (for children 18 years old and below, or with no NRIC), or present your digital card on the Singpass / HealthHub app upon registration at our clinic counter.
