HealthHub & NEHR FAQ
Why can't I see my latest medical report or results on HealthHub yet?
While A Healing Heart Medical is fully compliant with the National Electronic Health Record (NEHR) and uploads data promptly, the HealthHub app is a national platform that aggregates data from thousands of sources. It can take up to 4 working days for records to be verified and displayed. Not all historical records are migrated yet. We recommend to keep a digital or physical copy provided directly by our clinic.
What results from A Healing Heart Medical can I see on my HealthHub app?
Please note that the Ministry of Health (MOH) is still phasing in the "patient-view" for private clinic data. Currently, doctors can view your public hospital history for your safety, but your private lab reports are not yet visible to you in the app. However, you can still view your vaccination records and subsidies. We will provide your medical reports directly to you during your consultation.
Is my medical data secure?
Yes. Data is protected under the MOH's Health Information Bill (HIB). You have full control over your access settings within the HealthHub app and can choose who sees your records.
Do I need to pay for this integration?
No. Providing access to your records via NEHR and HealthHub is a free service mandated by the Ministry of Health to ensure better continuity of care in Singapore.
Can I opt out of the NEHR?
No. Under Singapore's health framework when HIB is effective, you cannot opt out of having your health data contributed to the NEHR, but you can restrict access to it. You can manage your "Access Preferences" directly via the HealthHub App.
Note: Under HIB, all licensed healthcare providers in Singapore (public and private) contribute key patient information to the NEHR. Authorised doctors can access critical data in life-saving and emergency situations.
